We are a fun and creative photographer couple from Ottawa, passionate about capturing those emotional wedding day moments with our unique storytelling photography style. We believe that every wedding is unique and try to reflect its true spirit with an artistic yet natural style. We love those two weeks or so every year that trees all over Ottawa burst with colorful spring blossoms. Nothing says spring like those pink and white blossoms in bloom. They make a soft, surreal, and romantic setting; perfect for showing a couple’s love with some beautiful engagement photos.

Thanh and Terry took full advantage of this lovely backdrop by choosing to have their engagement photos taken at the Ottawa Experimental Farm. The day was breezy and filled with spring showers. Lucky for us, clouds opened up just in time for the shoot and we came away with so many great shots.

Here’s a few of our favorite photos from this fun engagement session. We are really looking forward to being a part of their wedding day later this year.

Ottawa Strathmere Wedding – Annalee and Shawn

We recently photographed a beautiful wedding at one of our favorite Ottawa wedding venues, the Strathmere Inn. We love everything about this venue from its historic architecture to its beautiful grounds, and the friendly professional staff. Add to that an incredibly warm and lovely couple like Annalee and Shawn and you have everything you need for creating something unique.

The weather forecast had us keep our umbrellas handy but it turned out to be a beautiful overcast day with no rain at all; making for a picture perfect outdoor ceremony. With lots of colorful spring blooms all over the grounds there was no shortage of scenic backdrops.

Congratulations Annalee and Shawn! We had a blast capturing your big day and sharing it with you and your wonderful friends and family.

Tulip Festival Ottawa Engagement Photography – Neera and Rakesh

Every year in May, the world’s largest tulip festival takes place in Ottawa with the city transforming into a colorful display of a million tulips. This is a great time for engagement photography with no shortage of scenic backdrops. We met Neera and Rakesh in downtown Ottawa on a beautiful spring evening for their engagement session. We started at Chateau Laurier and headed to Major Hill park for a leisurely stroll among the tulip displays.

With both Neera and Rakesh being medical students, they have a fair bit of studying to do all the time. So it made sense to head to Chapters on Rideau street for some creative bookstore photography after our fun time in the park:)This turned out to be a great idea as we captured some really cool shots there. Here are a few of our favorites from this session.
